Is Coaching Right for You?
There are times in life in which we are pedaling as fast as we can, and there are times when we are coasting. When we are pedaling, it is important that we are headed in the right direction.
It doesn’t matter how fast we go, if we don’t end up at our destination.
When we are coasting, we have time to enjoy, celebrate and renew ourselves. If we don’t take that time when we can, we deprive ourselves of the energy needed to start pedaling again.
Whether at work or at home, it can become very easy to focus on the pedaling and forget to map out the path.
Coaching will help you define your path based on your goals, values, interests, skill sets and dreams.
When it is time to coast, it can be easy to minimize the importance of truly coasting.
We want to continue to push ourselves. But the truth is, that if we allow ourselves to coast when it is time, we will be able to pedal much faster and have a better idea of where we are going.
Coaching will help you to take advantage of your time to coast, to clarify and plan for the future.
Coaching provides:
* An acceleration of your goals. This is the “two heads are better than one” theory. You will find that no matter what your goals are, you will achieve them faster in coaching.
* An opportunity to celebrate your successes and use the lessons you have learned, to create more success.
* Accountability. Support to take action when faced with obstacles. And even better than that, an opportunity to create your own strategies so that those obstacles never stop you again.
*Access to the essence of your future vision. Through coaching, you will gain ultimate clarity about what you want in life and how to achieve it.
